Hi! I'm Deborah Case, owner of Deborah Case Dance Academy in McAllen, Texas. It's a pleasure to have you visit our web site, and I hope we can answer all your questions through the many pages here.
The Academy was founded in 1972 by Doria Avila. A native of Donna, Texas, Mr. Avila enjoyed a wonderful career as a professional dancer. He performed at Paris's famed Moulin Rouge, in Broadway theaters, and in Hollywood films. When he returned to The Valley, he wanted to teach students across the Rio Grande Valley the joy of dance. That's remained our goal ever since!
